Russ Cykoski joined the Air Force and worked as an engineer, a missile launch officer, and an acquisition officer before retiring. He later supported NASA and the Air Force projects. Russ is a Science Fiction fan and became interested in story development and writing. He developed an interest in the first-person narrative approach in high school, but never developed it until he retired. He worked in the military space program until his retirement.
