The 5th engineer handled the operational landers. After the crash that killed the Chief Engineer, only three out of our original four remained operational. She had no prior ship experience, as this was her first ship. Initial role on the Lewis and Clark was surface landers maintenance and repair. After the death of the 3rd engineer, she was asked to take over Life Support systems. After Ralph took over as Chief Engineer, she patiently guided him through the intricacies of the life support system. However, the Captain's orders meant that her primary focus was on reconstructing a crashed lander. While understanding Ralph's situation, she attempted to not get romantically involved with him because of his marital status. Because of her mother's serious illness, she was granted permission to take leave and visit her in New York. During the outbreak of Grey Death on Earth, she was declared missing and presumed dead. No matter how hard Ralph tried, he couldn't get a hold of her.
