Jim Gladstone, the chief doctor on the Lewis and Clark, played a crucial role during its expedition to Saturn. The doctor, a seasoned veteran in space medicine, was distinguished by his age and experience. Not only was he a skilled doctor, but he also showed great empathy towards Ralph Raymond's struggles. In hopes of garnering their attention, he arranges for his medical records, along with the information that he is Japanese American, to be shared with the Japanese Authorities. After retiring, he decided to settle on Earth, only to meet a tragic end during the devastating grey dead outbreak.
